Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge
At 1910m, Lake Naivasha is the highest-lying lake in the Rift Valley. The inactive volcano Mount Longonot towers above the lake.
The Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge is located on the southern shore of the freshwater lake. Guests enjoy a beautiful view over the lake and the surrounding nature. The 21 traditionally built stone bungalows are situated in a garden area and have 4 large rooms each, two of them on the ground floor and 2 on the first floor with a balcony. The rooms on the ground floor have a terrace and two “Queen Size” beds and are therefore also interesting for families. The ground-floor rooms are also suitable for wheelchair users!
The restaurant serves a delicious variety of African, European and Asian dishes. The large pool invites you to cool off on hot days.
Naivasha Kongoni Lodge
When it comes to beautiful Lodges and Safari Camps at Lake Naivasha, the Naivasha Kongoni Lodge doesn’t need to hide. The lodge is built in colonial style, with spacious verandas overlooking the Lake Naivasha Valley. A small park featuring characteristic Euforbi trees, which resemble seaweed in shape, surrounds the lodge.
Guests are often able to see animals up-close, as the garden gate is left open to allow animals to roam around freely. The garden is often visited in the evenings by zebras, antelopes, giraffes, hippos and warthogs.
