3 Days Tsavo East & Taita Hills Private Safari

Day 1: Mombasa/Diani – Tsavo East National Park

Our driver will comfortably pick you up from your hotel at 6:30am in the early morning. We then start off together to Tsavo East National Park, where we arrive in time for a spectacular morning game drive with chances to spot Red Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes, Hippos, Giraffes, Gazelles, Waterbucks, Leopards, Zebras and an abundance of bird species. After the morning game drive, we check in at our accommodation for lunch. We have time to relax and dip into the inviting swimming pool, then head for an exciting game viewing trip in the late afternoon.

There are many fascinating aspects to observe in the open areas of Tsavo East, such as the Yatta Plateau, one of the world’s longest lava flows. An additional attraction is the Athi River flanked by stately Doum palms which, near the Manyani gate, forms the Lugard Falls, a long stretch of rippling white-water cataracts and a favorite haunt for sunbathing Crocodiles.

Day 2: Tsavo East National Park – Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary (Salt Lick)

On our second day of safari Adventure, we start the new day with a cup of energizing coffee or tee and start out for an early-morning game drive. At this early time of the day, we have good chances of spotting the Big Cats of Tsavo. After arriving back to the lodge, we comfortably take our main breakfast and then head off to a final game drive in Tsavo East.

We then depart to Taita Hills (Salt Lick), driving for a distance of approx. 80 Kilometers. After our arrival in the early afternoon, we enjoy lunch while we observe animals at the big water hole right next to us. Later, we find ourselves hunting for more adventures in an afternoon game drive. Taita Hills is rich in physical attractions, including thorny bush lands, acacia forests, arid areas, savannah and swamps. Animals found here include Elephants, Lions, Cheetahs, Zebras, Giraffes, and different types of birds such as Ostriches, Guinea Fowls, and Weaver Birds.

Day 3: Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary (Salt Lick) – Mombasa/Diani

On Day 3 of our journey through the Africa of your dreams, we wake up at around 6.00am, have a cup of coffee and enjoy an early-morning game drive before the main breakfast. Highlights include spotting Taita Hills’ Big Cats. We head back to the lodge for the main breakfast, followed by a game drive en-route to Voi Town for lunch. After lunch, we safely bring you back to your hotel of choice in Mombasa or Diani in the early evening. Your safari ends here, but you will find yourself equipped with the memories of a lifetime and the strong spirit of wild African adventure – that much is certain!
